Provide comfort and love with our care packages for babies and families in the NICU and families facing infant loss. A division of Project Sweet Peas.
The NICU Care Project started thanks to our little boy Zachary, who spent 50 days in the NICU. We were able to share two months and two days with our son, and thanks to this boy we saw a world of families in need of care and comfort during this emotional time, where hope and healing comes... in baby steps.
Now with the help of other moms, we have been able to help NICU families by coming together to create care packages; providing information, resources and items to make their journey if not easier, at least more comfortable.
We have been reaching out to families in need since 2013 and we are currently a division of Project Sweet Peas, a non-profit organization that shares our goal nationwide. You can also visit their website at www.projectsweetpeas.com to learn more.
Last year, we collected 31 NICU Care Packages and 12 Bereavement boxes. Our packages are donated to North Central Baptist Hospital.
