Yorkville Athletic Association, NFP is a youth travel sports association in the city of Yorkville, IL. We are a 501c(3) tax exempt organization established in 2010 playing under the name of Yorkville Fury.
We are currently in our third season as an organization and grew out of a desire to give a greater number of the youth in our community the opportunity to experience travel sports, with the ultimate goal of developing a deeper pool of talent for the high school athletic program.
We have grown as an organization and field travel teams in baseball, softball andbasketball.
Our baseball teams play in the Kane County Bronco League (KCBL). Our softball team plays in the Southwest Suburban Softball League (SWS). We play teams from the surrounding community and various area tournaments throughout the season. Our basketball teams play in various tournaments throughout the community.
The coaches and parents involved in our travel program are committed to creating a positive learning experience for every player. Currently all coaches and administrators are unpaid volunteers, which allows us to keep administrative and player/family costs to a minimum. In our coaching and training, we stress fundamentals, teamwork, work ethic, sportsmanship, and a genuine love for the game.
As our community expands, we hope we can offer opportunity for teams to form and thrive within the flexible foundation the Yorkville Athletic Association has created.
