Hello! My name is Mike Urich. I am the creator of 1 Up Wood Works, formally 1 Up Board Co.

While 1 Up Board Co. was only devised early in the fall of 2013, I am no stranger to building custom cornhole boards. Several summers ago I made my first set of boards for Jason Richardson, pitcher for the York Revolution (ALPB). Upon Jason's suggestion I continued to build boards as a hobby, completing several more sets during my time at Penn State University. Having recently graduated from Penn State, I have finally found the time to turn my longtime hobby into what you now know as 1 Up Wood Works.

What began as a service to create custom, competition-grade cornhole boards has evolved to include custom furniture. I can build many different types of furniture to include, but not limited to, shelves, dressers, coat racks, entertainment centers, book shelves, jewelry chests, and gun racks.
