Dorm residents of the 60th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron of Travis AFB, CA can see a collection of information regarding squadron activity

Information to new Airmen:
For the first week or so after you arriving to Travis, you will be in-processing. This involves a lot of CBT's (Computer Based Training) and going to certain buildings to get signatures from certain people. A car would be most helpful, but there should be no shortage of people that will take you anywhere you may need to go, especially at work. Do not be afraid to ask. Your hours will most likely be 8 am to 4 pm. Hours are completely dependent on your section chief.
Your section chief will be decided by which team you are placed on, being A, B, C, or D. You aren't, however, restricted to using just the section chief assigned to your team. They are all there to help and would be happy to do so. That goes for anyone on your team as well.
When you finish in-processing, you will be put onto the schedule of the team you are assigned. We are on 12 hour shifts here, working 4 days a week and then getting 3 days off. The work day will begin at either 6pm or 6am and end accordingly.
