Providing acupuncture for chronic pain, fibromyalgia, neuropathy, stroke, carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, allergies, fertility, and much more.
Eighteen months after it opened, Acupuncture Shreveport has expanded its clinic and added a second acupuncturist in new quarters in the Line-Olive Building.
Clinic founder Meredith Stewart, ACA, MAOM, has announced her association with Kristy Lynn, ACA, M.Ac., a practitioner whose training includes over 2,600 program hours and extensive coursework in physiological medicine and disease management.
Mrs. Lynn incorporates traditional acupuncture treatments while employing a modern understanding of disease and injury in the body. Her skills are a good fit with the services currently available at the clinic, which include acupuncture, acupressure, cupping, infrared therapy, microcurrent stimulation, and herbal recommendations" Stewart said.
Lynn earned her Master of Acupuncture degree from the Won Institute of Graduate Studies in Glenside, Pa., following a bachelors degree in English and communications from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. Stewart earned the Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree from the Academy of Oriental Medicine in Austin, Texas, and a bachelor of science degree in biophysics from Centenary College in Shreveport, La. Both practitioners are licensed to practice acupuncture in Louisiana.
