You have a choice in your hospice provider. When you or a loved one is living with a terminal illness, quality of life matters more than ever.
'It's all about helping people!'
We believe that every chapter of life, even in its final stages, can be lived well. When time matters most, you can count on our team of compassionate hospice professionals to help you or your loved one live comfortably, with dignity, when a cure is no longer possible.
We help people with COPD (Pulmonary/Lung Disease), Cancer, Stroke/Coma, Renal/Kidney Disease, Liver Disease, Alzheimer's/Dementia, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Cardiac/Heart Disease, and AIDS
When there is not a cure, many people think that means it is time to give up. Alabama Hospice Care believes so much can be done to enhance quality of life.
Meeting the physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs of each patient and family is our top priority. Our interdisciplinary hospice team of nurses, social workers, chaplains, counselors and trained volunteers offer the support patients and families need in the comfort and privacy of home. Counseling and bereavement support services are available to families before and after a patient’s death.
We are proud to be a national leader in Joint Commission accreditation. Whereas just seven percent of home health agencies nationwide have achieved Joint Commission accreditation. Alabama Hospice Care is Joint Commission accredited.
