All Saints' Anglican Church, Weatherford, TX - (817) 596-8734

All Saints is an orthodox Anglican church in the catholic tradition.

Welcome to All Saints Anglican Church! We hope that as you enter this sacred place you will become immediately aware of the glory, majesty, and grace of Almighty God. Psalm 96 proclaims, “Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness! Let the whole earth stand in awe of Him!” At All Saints Anglican Church our chief goal is to know God, to love God, and enjoy Him, with all our heart and strength. As you enter into our fellowship you will probably notice a number of things that may surprise you, or even shock you. So let us answer your question, “Who are you?”

First, we are a family. The Scripture refers to the Church as the Body of Christ and the Bride of Christ. If you read the New Testament and the early Church Fathers you will often see terms like, “brethren,” “children.” “beloved,” and other familial terms. As brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ and children of God the Father, we are called to be, live, and act as a sacred family. At All Saints you will see that we all attend Church together, from the new born infant, to the most seasoned of citizen. We live as a family, worship as a family, and serve as a family. As the spiritual father of this local family I invite you become an active part of our family!

Second, we are a Catholic family. For many this term is confusing and/or offensive. However, at All Saints this is not a bad term but an honored one. In the Nicene Creed, our foremost statement of faith, we proclaim, “I believe in one Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church.” The term catholic means, “according to the whole.” To be Catholic is to be in continuity with, and in agreement with, the “faith once delivered to the saints.” (Jude 1:3) A Catholic Church is a church that has received and maintained the faith, doctrine, and worship of the Apostles and has a valid Bishop in the line of succession from the Apostles of Jesus Christ, from the 1st century of the Church till today. Our Bishop, the Rt. Rev. Jack Iker, was consecrated in this sacred lineage, and is a bold defender and guardian of our Catholic faith. We are not in communion with the Roman Catholic Church but instead with other Anglican Worldwide. This makes us a Catholic Church in the Anglican Tradition.

Therefore, we are an Anglican family. Anglican Catholics are those christians who trace their traditions and heritage through the Church as it developed in the English Isles. This Church has existed since the early days of the Church as Christianity spread throughout the Roman Empire. Many of our traditions and forms of worship come from this ancient and continuous christian witness to the Apostolic Faith. Though there are many Anglicans today who have chosen to reject this ancient faith, our Diocese and our church have remained faithful to this heritage of faith. As Anglicans we are a global family. Our own diocese is in full communion with over 80% of the worlds 80 million Anglicans worldwide. We are also associated with the Anglican Church in North America, a movement of Anglicans who were forced to leave the Episcopal Church in the United States, and the Anglican Church in Canada, as those churches embraced more and more heresy and false teaching. As Catholic Anglicans we bring an ancient and faithful witness to our Lord Jesus Christ as we proclaim His Gospel through reverent worship and mission to our community. And that brings us to our mission at All Saints Anglican Church.

We exist to glorify our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by devoting ourselves to the Apostles Teaching, the Fellowship, the Breaking of Bread, and the Prayers. (Acts 2:42)

We invite you and welcome you to our family as we work diligently to equip His saints for the work of ministry.
