Alpha Kappa Chi (AKX) Wellesley College’s Classic's Society, was founded in 1892 to provide an opportunity for additional study of classics and foster sisterhood between intelligent Wellesley women.
Alpha Kappa Chi today, with our varied social, philanthropic, and academic agenda, is a blossoming society on Wellesley's campus. Nonetheless, all sisters of Alpha Kappa Chi still follow the original mission to create sisterly bonds and spread classics throughout the world.
