ATTENTION FORMER WESTLAKE SCHOOL FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS STUDENTS, PARENTS, AND TEACHERS

It has truly been a blessing to witness Westlake School for the Performing Arts evolve into an institution we can all be proud of and be associated with. Due to the continued success of the students at competitions and the consistent high quality productions the school presents, WSPA has gained a great reputation on both the local and global scale.

This success is a result of good people working together – the students, teachers, parents, and office staff. I thank you for the goodwill you have shared during your time with WSPA. The teachers, staff, parent group and myself have learned a lot from you through the ups and downs of your training and the inevitable success, as well as disappointments we shared. You were instrumental to the growth of the school and the dance community that supported you. Whether you stayed for one year or more than one decade, I thank you for sharing a part of your life with WSPA as a student, a teacher, a parent, or a volunteer with the school.

Before we celebrate the school’s 25th year in 2016, please help me build our WSPA Alumni Organization to bring us all back together and continue to grow with the dance community. As they say, “Once a dancer, always a dancer.” I invite you to be a part of our community of dancers, dance lovers, supporters, and creative people. By becoming a member, you will reconnect with your fellow dancers in the past, look at the old photos that were archived, and reminisce the good old days.

You will also be able to reach and network with people like yourself.

There are many benefits to becoming a registered WSPA alumna:

1. You will receive our monthly newsletter via email, in order to keep you abreast with upcoming performances, classes, activities, events such as festivals, competitions, and travels.

2. You will be receiving announcements on job openings for a teacher, choreographer, or staff in the office. Several of our alumni are currently working as teachers, choreographers, and office staff in the school already.

3. If you are now a business owner and provide a special service, you can advertise in our newsletter for FREE as a WSPA Alumna reaching possibly thousands of our formerly/currently enrolled families.

4. You will not only reconnect with the people you once danced with but you will also have the opportunity to make new connections with possibly thousands of former and current WSPA students.

5. Last but not least, we want you to be a part of the big 25th Anniversary Celebration in 2016.

So don’t delay, help us build our WSPA ALUMNI DATABASE now by joining our Facebook Page – Alumni of Westlake School for the Performing Arts

I urge you to invite former students you are currently in touch with to join the group.

I hope to see you all on this page.
