MEMBER OF AMVETS - The requirement to become of member of AmVets is you must have served in the Armed Forces and have had an honorable discharge. This also includes National Guards and Reserves. You must present a copy of your DD-214, Active or Retired Military ID with your application. Your VA card is not acceptable for membership. The fee to join is $30.00 and then $30.00 dues per year.

SONS OF AMVETS - Requirement is all male discendents, grandsons, adopted sons and stepsons, fathers, husbands, widowers and brothers of members of AmVets and the deceased members of AmVets or the personnel who died and would have been eligible for membership. This does not include in-laws of any type. The fee to join is $30.00 and dues are $30.00 a year.

LADIES AUXILIARY - Must be related to a member of AmVets, related to a deceased veteran who could have been eligible for members, related to a female veteran. The specific relations are: Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister or Granddaughter. The fee to join is $25.00 and the dues are $25.00 a year.
