We pay frequent visits to the pound. We also work with the staff who provides us with pictures of the pets and basic information, which we then list online to Petfinder and Adopt A Pet.
We then send these lists to other animal welfare organizations and beg them to save some of these pets. Many have been answering our calls and we are very thankful to the many pets they saved!
Some pets are also placed in AAVA's adoption program and adopted to the public, but this is only a minority, we simply cannot address this dire situation alone, due to not enough volunteers, foster homes and funding!
