Founded in 1988, we are a full service AAHA veterinary hospital located in Valrico, FL

The Animal Medical Center was established in 1988 as the Animal Medical Center of Brandon. In 1997, we relocated to a brand new 5,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility. We have the desire and ability to provide our patients with the highest possible care. For your added convenience, we are able to perform most diagnostic testing and laboratory analysis on site. We have been an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited animal hospital since 1991. We currently have a staff of about twenty employees, including veterinarians, technicians, receptionists, administrative personnel and kennel staff.

At Animal Medical Center, we believe in providing quality care to each pet and family that we see. We aim to be on time and attentive in every situation. Scheduling appointments allows for appropriate time to be allowed for each pet and situation. We appreciate the patience that is shown when there is something unexpected, an emergency, with another pet. Know that we would take the same time to care for your pet in the same situation. To help us provide you and your pet with the best care:
• We will do our best to contact you 48 hours prior to your appointment
with a reminder call or e-mail.
• If you must cancel your appointment, we ask that you do so at least 48
hours prior to your scheduled appointment. This allows us to contact pet
owners on our waiting list who are also in need of our services.
• If there is an unforeseen emergency, or the weather does not permit for
you to make your appointment, we understand and will help you reschedule
for the next available appointment.
• If you cancel the same day without any reason,
for more than two times, the Animal Medical Center reserves
the right to change your appointment privileges to WALK IN basis, meaning that your visit will be worked in between scheduled appointments.
• Emergencies can happen at anytime. During normal business hours, emergencies are welcome.
