HI! My name is Aubrey Virant and I've been pretty much an all around artist since I was able to hold a pencil, pen, paint brush etc. I went to the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and majored in Make up Effects for film and minored in Interior design but in the past 5 + years I found my true calling....Designing personal glassware for any occasion for that special someone to make a gift truly special and one of a kind.
How I came across this idea, I was shopping one day and saw painted glasses while I was shopping for a birthday gift for someone. I thought it would be a neat idea to buy that person one because it was diff, said happy bday on it but I didn't get it because it wasn't truly fitting that person based on what they are into and what they would appreciate from the heart.
So I talked with my mom on this idea of finding pictures based on who likes what based on interests, life activities, and hobbies or job and painting them on glasses. So that Chrtistmas, I painted everyone in my family their fav football team logo and etched their name. They loved them and said to broaden the idea of all glassware and more detailed pictures.
That's when i started plates and bowls plus diff shapes of glasses. Then I pushed the limits on my painting capabilities of recently doing animals and faces. Let's just say, I finally impressed myself on how far I've gone.
The true thing about doin this is not one single piece I make is alike. I make sure if even say a harley davidson, pens emblem, steelers is constantly ordered, each one something is different on it. I love that because it makes it that much special and its HANDMADE not machine processed.
The main thing I enjoy out of doing this is seeing the smile and hearing what each person says when they see my work up front and personal. Brings such joy and happiness that I can make someone feel happy with my work is the best to me.
I will be adding a lot more since my business is really growing! so Please spread the word so I can just make one more person happy because God only knows, this world needs more smiles! :)

My work is all hand painted and etched. All glassware is HAND WASH ONLY as well. even though the paint does says dishwasher safe, I feel more comfortable if you hand wash. I have come across paints that still say dishwasher safe and depending on the heat temp in washers, it may take the paint off. I have washed glasses Ive painted religiously everyday by hand and the paint never came off. So please, so you can truly enjoy the work for a very long time, please HAND WASH.
