Backroads Studio Tour - (508) 867-7316

A group of Artists and artisans who work together to promote their work through a guided tour of the beautiful backroads in 5 rural New England towns.

Each October, the public is invited to tour the shops and studios of participating artists and artisans. On a colorful and glorious fall weekend, you may visit art studios, furniture maker, a bakeshop, a blacksmith, a wood turner, basket maker, paper maker, rug maker and worker in textiles, bead and jewelry maker, quilter - surprises abound. Light Refreshments are served; there are gardens to be admired.
The scenic New England countryside abounds with wildlife and scenic vistas. There are fine restaurants and other businesses who support the backroads tour and welcome you in each community.
This year, the tour will be held on OSaturday and Sunday, October 3 & 4.

There is no charge for the self-guided tour. You may, of course, wish to make a purchase at one or more of the studios or shops. Prices range from minuscule to a few hundred dollars; no purchase is ever required..
Bring your friends and famaily, and stay as long as you wish. Rain or shine.
