Olivarera Baja Mar, S.A. de C.V. is located in the state of Baja California, Mexico, with two olive production areas: Rancho San Telmo, to the south of Ensenada B.C., and Rancho La Mesa, in the Valley of Mexicali. The company was founded in 2000, but we began operating the olive fields in 1998, and currently boast approximately 700 acres of established olive fields with 70,000 trees in production. A variety of olives includes Mision, Manzanita, Picual, Barnesm Arbequina, Frantoio and Leccino — all grown for the production of olive oil. In December 2006, 180,000 liters of extra virgin olive oil were produced. Since 2009, 500,000 liters are produced annually. Olivarera Baja Mar is highly specialized in both olive and olive oil production areas. We produce our own brand of extra virgin olive oil — “Baja Olive.”
