Ballet Etudes has been one of the premier dance schools in the Southeast for over 37 years.

Ballet Etudes School was founded in 1974 alongside its professional performing company, Ballet Etudes Company of South Florida, Inc., and now boasts over 75 graduates to date.
The Mission of Ballet Etudes is to offer children and adults of all ages a variety of courses designed to provide a complete education in classical dance. Whether in pursuit of a professional career or simply deriving the joys and physical benefits of a dance class, Ballet Etudes offers students a graduated system of study to satisfy any skill level.
Pre-professional students have the opportunity to develop the skills, experience, and discipline that are the necessary foundations for a professional dance career. Graduate and near-graduate students have the opportunity to perform with Ballet Etudes Company of South Florida in professional-caliber productions of such classics as The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Swan Lake, Coppélia, Paquita, and La Fille Mal Gardée. Members of Ballet Etudes Company of South Florida receive "hands-on" experience of what it is to train in a professional setting. They also receive specialized coaching for corps de ballet as well as soloist roles.
Ballet Etudes School offers the finest dance training in an encouraging and professional atmosphere. Ballet Etudes supports the growth of classical ballet by maintaining the highest standards and by nurturing the talent of every student.

The starting age for students at Ballet Etudes School is 3 years old. We feel this is the earliest appropriate age according to a child's physical development. In addition, Ballet Etudes School offers classes in hip-hop and flamenco for students ages 5 and older.
