Belts' Soft Serve was founded in 1981 at its current location by Don & Joyce Belt. They converted the east side of the building into the 1st window. As the ice cream business grew they buttoned up their first foyer into business which was barley brew. Those who were around in those days remember the aromas of the roasting barley. Thus Belts' has since had 2 windows serving our flurries, cones, and other treats full time. Don & Joyce's' son, Dan Racine, has owned Belts' since 1991 and his son, Cole, currently manages 'the shop'. Belts' has always incorporated our family favorites into the homemade ingredients we proudly serve today. With that, the generous portions can be attributed to our families love of food. We hope that when you come to Belts' that you get a treat that you truly enjoy. Whether it's one of our homemade ingredient classics, a classic candy bar flurry, fresh local fruit in season, one of our drinkable treats, cones, sundaes, or any other ice cream staple, like our famous turtle sundae, we hope you and your family takes a moment to enjoy the simple pleasures of life and stop by this summer! As we open for the season in 2015 we our entering our 35th season, and want thank you all from our family to yours for the past 35 years in Stevens Point.

No credit or debit cards. 30+ Flurries, Shakes/Malts/Smoothies, Sundaes, Cones, Point Draft Root Beer Floats, Icees and Slushes. Homemade Cookie Dough, PB Cup, Brownies, Puppy Chow. Fresh local berries in season. Open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. 7 days a week the 1st Friday in March untill the 2nd Sunday in October.
