BFI Landscaping & Masonry was founded by Jesus Martinez-Sosa in 1992. Having immigrated to the USA from Paraguay, Jesus (pronounced "Hey-Zoos") felt that he had been greatly blessed to be able to live in this wonderful country and so named his company Blessed Forever, Inc. Based in Yorktown Heights, NY, Jesus provided landscaping services throughout Northern Westchester County, NY and Fairfield County, CT.

Blessed Forever, Inc.'s crew of skilled masons gained a well-deserved reputation as some of the best in the business and masonry became a larger part of the company's business. Today, stone-work is the company's specialty.

In 2009, Jesus changed the company's name to BFI Landscaping & Masonry to better reflect the full range of services provided. Interior and remodeling services, such as painting, tiling, and carpentry, are provided through BFI Remodeling.
