Welcome to the Body by Design Fitness Instructors page! Regan Hillebrecht, Sheri Henderson, Kaylina Bacchiochi and Glorimar Hickman are happy to offer you many different fitness classes! We strive to provide a positive motivating environment to all clients of any age, size, or ability level. We look forward to seeing you in our new studio.
BIO'S:
SHERI HENDERSON:
Sheri Henderson attended her first Zumba class in 2009. Zumba has completely changed her life! Sheri received her B1 certification in 2009 and went on to get her B2, Zumba Toning, Zumba Step and Zumba Sentao certifications. In addition to all of her Zumba certifications, Sheri is an Aerobics and Fitness Association of America Certified Group Fitness Instructor/Trainer and CPR & AED certified. Sheri is currently teaching high energy, fun-filled, classes! Her classes include Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Reggaeton, Hip Hop, Samba, Bellydance, and Soca rhythms!
Sheri also leads our Tone and Pump classes. Tone & Pump is a strength and conditioning class that focuses on all major muscle groups consisting of sets of exercises with intervals of cardio. Each exercise is performed for 50 seconds, focusing on one muscle group at a time. You will tone and define and it’ll keep you burning calories for days!
REGAN HILLEBRECHT:
Regan is crazy addicted to teaching fitness classes and staying fit!! Regan is a certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and a Military Fitness Specialist in the Connecticut Air National Guard. Regan is excited to bring many new classes to you at Body by Design including Circuit Training, Step, Kick Boxing, and resistance classes (such as Tone & Pump, Ripped and Step with Resistance.)
GLORIMAR HICKMAN:
Glorimar has been in the fitness industry for 13 years. Certifid by AFAA Group Fitness, Spinning, and Zumba. Glorimar enjoys spending quality time with her three children, her granddaughters, and her husband. She is a Director of a Telecommunications Consulting firm and a University of Hartford alumni.
KAYLINA BACCHIOCHI:
Kaylina always strived to be fit and healthy, but it was not until she began practicing Pilates that she found a new level of inner strength in her body. With a true desire to learn more about the Pilates Method and share her passion with others, she became a certified Pilates Instructor in 2010 after completing a 500 hour training program. She is fully qualified in all Pilates mat and equipment work.
She is also a certified group fitness instructor through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America, a certified personal trainer through American Council on Exercise and a certified Holistic Nutrition Consultant through the American College of Healthcare Sciences.
