Since 1936 the Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady has been serving children who need us most.
We provide:

Begun in 1936 as the Schenectady Boys Club with a small group of boys known as the Wildcats to what is now the Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady serving more than 4000 girls and boys as members and an additional 8000 children in youth development programs.
We have sites in Rotterdam, Mont Pleasant, Yates Village and Steinmetz Homes and on Craig Street in Hamilton Hill, Washington Irving Center. We also serve children in many of the Schenectady School District elementary schools at Pleasant Valley Woodlawn and M.L. King. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady also operates Camp Jesse R. Lovejoy summer day camp and PROMISES Mentoring program.
