Our creator, Del Webb, opened the golf course for play in November of 1983 and the Clubhouse in May of 1985. Del Webb's vision was to provide a unique golfing and social experience with camaraderie for its members. Briarwood has earned the distinction of being one of the friendliest clubs in the Valley and our members have become friends for a lifetime. For our members, Briarwood is their home "away-from home", a place to connect, relax and enjoy life.

Briarwood Country Club is a Private Country Club in Sun City West, Arizona.
Our members enjoy an 18 Hole Golf Course and a 30,000 square foot Clubhouse with casual dining, gourmet dining and an exquisite Sunday Brunch.
Briarwood's tranditional golf course with emerald fairways and and exceptional practice facility offers just the right challenge for every golfer. With 5 sets of tees, golf is tailored to fit any skill level. There are various men's groups, 18 Hole Ladies, 9 Hole Ladies, Lady Putters, Team Play and Mixers. In addition to organized golf activities, we welcome member's open play. Our Private course makes booking tee times easy. Members can schedule tee times up to 7 days in advance from the comfort of their home.
