Nearby, there are trails for hiking and biking, a natural area reserve and even the opportunity for skydiving and gliding.

Camp Mokule`ia can also structure a powerful program for your group utilizing the stunning environmental setting, our High and Low Challenge Course, our committment to sustainability, and our aloha for the wisdom, traditions and history of these islands.

“Come, You Are Welcome” to Camp Mokule`ia! Owned by the Episcopal Church but open to everyone, we are a setting just perfect for you, your ohana, your group or organization for rest, recreation and renewal.

In the Hawaiian language, Mokule`ia means “a place of abundance,” which is exactly what we strive to be for all of our guests – a place where your spirits, your bellies and your ability to play are all abundantly filled.

We look forward to your stay with us on Oahu's gorgeous North Shore.

Stretching for more than ¾ mile along Oahu's beautiful North Shore, Camp Mokule`ia comprises 40 acres of pristine wonder. Only 45 minutes from the metropolis of Honolulu, we are in "the country" at Mokule`ia — with its beautiful vistas, slower pace, welcoming spirit, deep culture, and rich possibilities. Our main buildings look out upon beautiful Kaiahulu Bay, a secluded place for year-round swimming and ocean exploration. The reef that shelters the camp is home to plentiful sea life including honu, the Hawaiian sea turtles. The lively reef and the fertile plains that lie behind us are reminders of the abundance for which Mokule`ia (Place of Abundance) got its name. Beyond the plains rises Mt. Ka'ala, the highest point of the Waianae Mountains and Oahu, accessible through nearby biking and hiking trails. Just a few miles to our west lies exquisite Ka'ena Point the westernmost tip of Oahu, and a place of great cultural significance. There you will find a pristine costal dune area that is being powerfully restored to its native habitat, once again becoming home to native seabirds, the Hawaiian monk seal and a multitude of native plant life. To our east lies the surf town of Haleiwa, the gateway to the North Shore — renowned for shave ice, huge winter surf, beautiful summer snorkeling, Pu'u O Mahuka Heiau and famous Waimea Valley.
