Summer Camp
Camp Tecumseh, founded in 1903, is a residential camp for boys, ages 8-16, offering a wide variety of activities. Tecumseh is located in the White Mountains of New Hampshire with nearly two miles of shoreline on beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee, New England’s largest lake. The campus covers over 300 acres and boasts some of the finest camp facilities in the country.
Founded by three Olympic athletes: Dr. Alexander Grant, George W. Orton and Dr. Josiah McCracken, the Camp’s mission now, as it was then, is “to make good boys better” through a program which centers around healthy athletic competition, an exposure to drama and mountain hiking of all kinds. Tecumseh enjoys its reputation as one of the country’s finest sports camps.
