The fishing is good year around but the warmer mouths are the best but, mild weather fronts during the winter allow the off season to be some great times to go fishing around the lower Cape Fear area too! All fishing trips are professionally guided by Capt. Jot Owens, Capt Jot is a local native fishing guide, something that is hard to find in the Wrightsville Beach area. Fishing trips come in three different lengths: Half days are four (4) hours long, three-quarter days are six (6) hours long and full days are eight hours (8) long. All trips include your fishing license, all bait, tackle rods, and reels. Any fish you would like to keep to eat, Capt. Jot will clean them free of charge.
