Captain Jot Owens is a native of Wrightsville Beach and Wilmington, NC. He has been fishing the waters of this area his entire life. Capt. The waters around Wrightsville Beach and Wilmington North Carolina have some of the best fishing on the east coast. Whether you are fishing the flats of the Cape Fear River or Masonboro Sound; you can find the fish you are looking. The fishing is good year around but the warmer mouths are the best but, mild weather fronts during the winter allow the off season to be some great times to go fishing around the lower Cape Fear area too! Fishing tackle is in new shape and is always working smoothly, Capt. Jot is on the Penn fishing tackle company’s Elite staff, and so he always has the latest and greatest rods, reels and tackle etc from Penn for you to fish with!

All fishing trips are professionally guided by Capt. Jot Owens, Capt Jot is a local native fishing guide, something that is hard to find in the Wrightsville Beach area. Fishing trips come in three different lengths: Half days are four (4) hours long, three-quarter days are six (6) hours long and full days are eight hours (8) long. All trips include your fishing license, all bait, tackle rods, and reels. Any fish you would like to keep to eat, Capt. Jot will clean them free of charge.
