The Chick-fil-A Story:
It all started in 1946, when Truett Cathy opened his first restaurant, The Dwarf Grill, in Hapeville, Georgia. Credited with inventing the boneless breast of chicken sandwich, Mr. Cathy founded Chick-fil-A, Inc. in 1964 and pioneered the establishment of restauarants in shopping malls with the opening of the first Chick-fil-A restaurant at a mall in suburban Atlanta in 1967. Since then, Chick-fil-A has steadily grown to become the largest quick-service chicken restaurant in the United States, with more than 1,700 locations in 40 states and Washington, D.C. Chick-fil-A is still privately held and family owned. And, as always, Closed on Sundays.
Featuring an indoor playground, double drive-thru, indoor seating for113 and patio seating for 24, Chick-fil-A at 52nd & Wadsworth opened on October 31, 2013.
