A group of adults who need a place to vent, learn, and build a buddy system while navigating caretaking at any level for an older adult.
We are the "Sandwich Generation" (n.) The Generation of people still raising their children while having to care for their aging parents. We met once a month on Thursday night at 6:00 PM in the main dining room of the Jarman Senior Living Center. Refreshments or a light supper is always served. Guest speakers give insights on caring for our elderly loved ones or friends every other month and in between those meeting we just meet as friends to discuss, vent or seek advice or resources.
