Welcome to Christ United Methodist Church.
CUMC sprang from a very humble beginning in 1898 with the start of a small Sunday School by Miss Eva Hubbard in Edgington Lane School House. Our first pastor, Rev. Joseph Lee, was appointed in 1902. The first church building was constructed in 1903 in Edgwood Park. The present church, located on National Road at Washington Avenue, was completed in 1959. Major remodeling was finished in 1994. Today, CUMC is a vibrant and growing congregation dedicated to making disciple of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
