The beautiful City of Woodstock is approximately 8.8 square miles with a 2010
population of 23,896. We have four beautiful parks that offer year round
festivals, summer concerts, the Taylor Randahl Memorial Mountain Bike Trails,
walking trails, fishing, softball and community gardens. The William G. Long
Senior Center is available to active senior adults from age 50 and up with a
variety of programs and trips available for every interest. Our pride and joy is
our eclectic downtown witha mix of old and new. Historic homes and buildings
built over a century ago give Woodstock its southern charm. Many of these
buildings are home to antique stores, quaint shops and fine dining establishments.
While the newer part of town offers unique boutiques, family and date night
dining establishments with their own charm and flair! The historic Dean's Store
located on Main Street, is home to the Woodstock Visitors Center and doubles
as a historic musem of Woodstock's early days. Highway 92 is a mix of fine dining
and shopping establishments. Woodstock offers something for everyone and is
fast becoming a destination!
