Citywide Spring Cleanup

A family-friendly, community-focused annual event, which engages Saint Paul citizens to help clean up our parks, streets and neighborhoods.

In the spring, our parks and neighborhoods reveal large quantities of trash, which have accumulated over the winter. As the snow melts, this trash becomes visible and we hold an annual cleanup to engage community volunteers to help keep our city clean.

For the 2015 cleanup we hope to create a more community-driven and community-focused event by engaging more community members. We are anticipating roughly 1100 cleanup volunteers to participate in this years event. The more the merrier!

There are seven host sites planned for this year. These sites will be run by community groups, organizations and businesses and will be open for volunteers to drop in between 9 and 11:30 a.m. Volunteers will come to a cleanup site to pick up bags, gloves and goodies and refreshments. Volunteers will be encouraged to pre-register, but they can also register on-site. For more information on registering click the link below.

There are several roles you can take to get involved in the Citywide Spring Cleanup. First you can get involved with a site host. Your group, business or organization can host a cleanup site on the day of the event. Don't have time to devote to hosting a site? You can help by donating breakfast, coffee or any other treats to a site. Or you can sponsor the event by contributing cash or in-kind donations. And the most popular way to get involved is to register to volunteer for the cleanup itself. By doing so you can join us for the event to pick up trash in Saint Paul parks and neighborhoods.
