Clinica Sierra Vista opened its doors is 29 community health centers, 6 dental centers, and 6 behavioral health centers in Kern, Inyo, and Fresno Counties.

Clinica Sierra Vista is the nation’s third largest federally-qualified health center, operating through 70+ sites in Kern County (southern San Joaquin Valley), and Fresno County (central San Joaquin Valley), with one frontier site in Inyo County (Death Valley). All CSV primary health care services are available and open to the entire target population in each of the communities in which centers are located. All CSV sites are fully staffed year-round and operate on the medical home model.

Through nearly forty years of heath care service and continual growth and success, CSV has demonstrated its staying power and commitment to its patients and communities. Without CSV, thousands of people in Kern, Inyo and Fresno Counties would go without needed services.

Clinica Sierra Vista remains an integral part of the Kern and Fresno County health care and social services infrastructure as evidenced by contracts or agreements with many community agencies. CSV is known as the “go to” agency in the community for health care and related social services. CSV is the largest provider f migrant care in Kern County, and is linked with all other agencies that serve migrant populations as well. CSV’s homeless program works closely with all other service providers in Kern and Fresno Counties, and actively participates in the HUD-sponsored continuum and homeless collaboratives.
