In 1969, Vern Collins had a vision to build a construction company based on quality, value and most of all, his honesty. Those basic values have guided our company over the past forty-six years and have formed the core beliefs we bring to every project. The company was incorporated in 1983 at which time the business was moved from Anchorage to the Mat-Su Valley.

Throughout the course of the company’s history, work has been completed throughout the state of Alaska. In 1990 Greg Waisanen began working for Collins Construction, Inc. and began purchasing shares of the company in 1997. Since then, there has been a larger push to stay in the Mat-Su Valley with our work force, keeping our employees home with their families when possible and taking pride to develop projects in our local community. Today, Greg owns 100% of Collins Construction and enjoys participating in projects that benefit the Mat-Su Valley.
