At Columbia Basin Youth Riding School we focus on all aspects of the equine partnership. From basic groundwork to a mutual bond built on trust and respect.

Here at CBYRS we offer riding lessons to children from the age that they can hold their focus to 18 years old.

Riding lessons run at $35 per 1+ hours of instructing. All new riders start off with the first lesson being the same. In their very first lesson they will learn safe handling, grooming, basic anatomy, saddling, basic ground work, basic riding control, respect, and responsibility.

From there, we build a lesson plan based on your child's experience growth and ability to retain the lesson material between each lesson. Every child will learn at a different pace and we make sure to work with them accordingly in a way that works best for both rider and horse.

At CBYRS we strive to make riding a fun and rewarding experience, as well as molding their minds for the responsibilities that young adulthood brings.
