The Seabrook Writing Center is a free service for Columbia College students, offering tutors and help with papers for their classes on the main campus.
Writing consultants are available to assist all students who take courses on the main campus. In addition, Writing Center staff are available for face-to-face consultations with local online students enrolled in English 107, 111 or 112.
Essay Writing Assistance includes help with:
• Brainstorming and getting started on papers
• Organizing the rough draft of the paper
• Editing and revising papers
• Avoiding plagiarism
• Meeting MLA and APA guidelines
• Study skills information
Call or stop by to make an appointment for this FREE service! Walk-in hours are available without appointment, but time will be shared with other students.
Hours:
• Monday - Thursday: 8:30 a.m - 7:30 p.m.
• Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Walk-in time (no appointment necessary):
• Tuesday: 1 - 4 p.m.
• Friday: 8:30 - 11:30 a.m., 1 - 4 p.m.
