Concordia College-NY The Accelerated Degree Program provides you with the opportunity to maintain a personal life while pursuing your degree. Attend one night a week, one course at a time and earn full time credits!

Hello, My name is Nereida Quiles and I am the Director of Admission for Adult Education at Concordia College-NY, Bronxville, New York.

Whether you are considering completing your degree for personal, professional, or financial reasons – I congratulate you for taking the first step.

My goal is to ensure the admission process flows smoothly. I will provide expertise and individual focus while working with you toward one goal, assisting you in obtaining your bachelor’s degree.

As a “non-traditional student”, I understand the exciting process of choosing a college that fits the needs of an adult learner. I also understand the increased need to obtain a college degree in today’s society as well as the satisfaction of fulfilling a major life goal.

At Concordia College, we have several key benefits that may influence your decision to complete your degree here.

We are proud to say that the Concordia's Accelerated Degree Program provides you the opportunity to a personal life while pursuing your degree.

The design of our Accelerated Degree Program has distinctive and important factors:

* It was developed specifically for adults 25 years+, with the average age in the range of 35 – 40, and we have all ages in the program.

* Classes meet one night per week, from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.

* Courses are four, five or six weeks in length.

* Independent course work.

* You attend one course at a time, and can complete 12 or more credits in one term, therefore eligible to apply for the maximum financial aid benefits (student loans and possible grants).

* Books are loaned to students – you do not pay for books.

* Class sizes range from 10 to 20 students.

* Affordable tuition.

* Assistance in processing your request for financial aid including employer tuition reimbursement.

* Transfer Credit Policy: College-level courses with a grade of C or higher may be accepted in transfer from regionally accredited colleges and universities. A maximum of 75 semester credits - which include CLEP, military credits, and life experience - may be transferred.

You can apply with or without previous college credits, and if you have less than 28 college credits, an official high school transcript is required. GED is also accepted. Official college transcript is also required for prior college credits.

Order your transcripts and have them mailed to
Nereida Quiles, Concordia College, 171 White Plains Road, Bronxville, NY 10708.
