It is a hands on, cooking based, nutrition education program for low income individuals.
Nationally sponsored by Walmart, Cooking Matters is a cooking based nutrition education program for people on a limited budget. It teams up local chefs, nutrition educators and class assistants, who come together for a six (6) week series of hands-on cooking classes. The classes are FUN, FREE and are conducted at various locations based on demand.
