Creative Arts Academy is an afterschool art program during the school year and art camp during the summer. Children ages 7 to 12 explore art.
Creative Arts Academy is a unique afterschool program offering art history, art instruction and art practice creating art work that students get to keep. The carriage house loft has been converted to an art gallery and art studio for art summer camp.
Gallery shows of student art will be put on for parents, relatives and friends. Instructors Ana Recinos and Luisa Recinos are talented artists and love to share their talent with children and adults. Guest Artists are welcome to share their techniques in various media. School year hours are 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday. Art Summer Camp runs 9:00 am to Noon Monday to Friday from the middle of June to the middle of August. Rates are $35.00 per day or $150.00 for an entire week.
The Creative Arts Academy is housed in the historic home of Dr. William Russell and his wife Alice who raised eleven children here in the big home on the corner of Windsor and Bristol Streets. Stop by for a tour. Telephone 920-650-6822.
