Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization of citizens against crime.

Shelbyville-Shelby County Crime Stoppers began in 2007 from the efforts of the Policy Advisory Board. Our program now operates as an independent organization. The concept has developed into a combination of efforts by local media, businesses, civic and social clubs, law enforcement agencies, and the public. Donations from the public, government officials and local media have established Crime Stoppers as an effective tool to fight crime in our community.
