Darrell's has been voted as having the best poboy sandwiches in Lake Charles for the last 20 years in a row! We make all of our sauces from scratch daily and bake our bread to order! We have seven different poboys on our menu as well as a full bar.
Our History:
Established in 1985 and family owned. Darrell's originally opened as a bar for Darrell and his friends to have a place to hang out after a long day of work.
On one super bowl Sunday, Darrell's wife Susie made poboys for everyone thus sparking the idea to open a full time restaurant.
It has since been 30 years and Darrell's is still Lake Charles favorite destination for poboys!
For twenty-one years in a row the local paper the "Lagniappe" has voted us number one in poboys;
come on down and give us a try, you won't regret it!
