Daydream Cottage on Lily Lane is a beach escape, a sweet gem of a getaway with stunning south-facing views on forest and sky from the deck and indoors. Daydream Cottage is a delightful spot for experiencing sun, storms and all the whimsical times of day at the coast. You’ll hear the echo of surf through the trees.
At the edge of the Olympic rainforest, Daydream Cottage on Lily Lane is decorated cottage casual with a touch of city flair. Accommodations welcome couples, adults, kids and solo travelers. Beach, pool, parks and shops are all a short walk near-by.
Come on in through the back door, to the spacious kitchen. Enjoy appliances, gadgets and gas range for your gourmet creations. A gas grill is located right outside the kitchen door, with its view on Lily Loop Park. Make a bonfire there, wood provided, and have a picnic at a table out of Land of the Giants. There’s a nice lawn for kids to run around, too. Four outdoor seating areas let you follow the sun with your book and refreshments.
Daydream Cottage amenities invite longer stays and shorter retreats. The library has activities for all ages, and for everyone to play together. Entertain yourself with games, short stories, novels, foodie books, and DVD movies. TV, Netflix and Pandora netcast radio, too. Make a crackling fire in the wood stove.
Upstairs, two bedrooms feature comfy luxury beds. The Queen bedroom has a big view on East Alder Park, Mill District rooftops, the sky and forests beyond. The XL/Twin or King bedroom (conversion kit provided) overlooks Lily Loop Park, giving the desk a great view onto the neighborhood. In the full bath, enjoy an excellent tub and lots of hooks and shelves for your stuff. Downstairs, a queen sleeper sofa provides flexibility for guests.
High ceilings give an airy feeling throughout. Both bedrooms upstairs have room to write. Wi-Fi makes work and play possible. Daydream Cottage can be a fine home office, the ultimate ‘work from home’ situation. The cordless land line provides good back-up if your cell phone coverage is spotty, and you need to make local or national calls.
To the east, the Olympic forests go on and on. For forest hiking, exit the front gate at Daydream Cottage on East Alder Park, onto Lily Walk, and turn left. Trails out this south-easterly way on the Seabrook Cottage Rentals map are mountain bikers’ favorites, too.

Daydream Cottage is the red roof on Lily Lane. Our gorgeous south-facing deck looks on the wild tangle of East Alder Park and beyond to the great forests. Daydream Cottage is right by the entrance to the Mountain Bike Trail on the south east portion of Seabrook's COTTAGE MAP at 67 Lily Lane. Your quickest path to the beach from Daydream Cottage is via Gnome Trail. Daydream Cottage is a 3-minute walk to Town Hall via Compass and Blackberry Streets, or 23 minutes via Gnome Trail and beach path. Two minute walk to South Crescent Pool. Seasonal rates begin at $114/night.
