designEr interiors is a small business located in New Jersey. Owner Erica M. Holan is the visionary behind this interior design company that specializes in "comfortable, affordable, attractive" home and office furnishing recommendations.

THE STORY

Hi, my name is Erica (thus the capital "E" in designEr) and I want to help you make the most of your interior spaces!

I didn't start off in this business the traditional way, you see, I simply adore design and home decorating. I began collecting primitives, furniture, paintings, frames, etc. when I was very young. More than a decade later, after securing my own personal living space, I was able to decorate the apartment of my dreams. When I shared pictures of my place with my friends, family, colleagues and coworkers, I was repeatedly told that I should go into interior design. Well, this girl can take a hint! Since I ENJOY decorating so much, I thought I might as well listen to everyone encouraging me. So, here I am today, writing my story out for your reading pleasure.

I hope that my gallery shots give you an idea of how I can transform your home, without the expensive pricetag! A large majority of my apartment was decorated via online shopping. I seem to have a knack for picking things that go together well, and I LOVE designing with a theme in mind.

When I first decorated my own place, I thought about who I am, and who my boyfriend is... I wanted our personalities and interests to shine through in my decorating. The reason the E is capitalized in designEr is because my nickname to my closest friends and relatives is Er. The symbol at the center of my logo is actually a heart - can you see it? I am truly a designER at heart.
