Dr. Chris Walton of Premier Medical has performed more than 600 LASIK surgeries, over 2,000 cataract surgeries, and nearly 400 corneal transplants.
Dr. Chris Walton is highly-trained in the most advanced vision recovery and enhancement surgeries. Dr. Walton was born and raised in Mobile, and attended UMS-Wright. A top Mobile swimmer, he was awarded an athletic scholarship by Stanford. He later transferred to Auburn, and was an All-American swimmer for the Tigers in the mid-1990s. He later graduated from Stanford University, in 1996.
He earned his medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine, in Mobile, then spent a year at the renowned Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins University, in Baltimore.
Dr. Walton did his residency and internship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center's Department of Ophthalmology in Jackson. After that he completed his corneal/refractive surgery fellowship at the prestigious Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX.
With his training completed, Dr. Walton returned home and joined Mobile's Premier Medical group.

Dr. Walton lives in Mobile with his wife Holly and their daughter, Camille.
