Dress for Success Triangle NC is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering women by helping them secure employment and financial counseling.

The mission of Dress for Success is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

Founded in New York City in 1997, Dress for Success is an international not-for-profit organization offering services designed to help our clients find jobs and remain employed. Each Dress for Success client receives one suit when she has a job interview and can return for a second suit or separates when she finds work.

In addition to providing professional attire, Dress for Success Triangle also offers a Career Center where clients can receive unlimited one-on-one help with resume building, interview skills, and job searching. To further ensure success, we also offer a job acquisition program, The Going Places Network, and a monthly job retention program, The Professional Women's Group.

Dress for Success Triangle was officially launched in April of 2008. Since then, we have served over 4,500 women and will help 1,500 women in 2013 alone. Last year, 43% of women served gained employment. This year we are striving to increase that to 47%.

There are a number of ways you can use your gifts and interests to help Dress for Success Triangle – by volunteering as an Image Coach, Career Coach, mentor, marketing specialist, writer for newsletter content, etc., by donating professional women's clothing, handbags, shoes, accessories, and medical scrubs, or by making a financial donation.
