Dundore & Heister is a whole animal butcher shop, rich with the history of Berks County, practicing the nearly lost craft of butchery. D&H sources animals from local, pasture-rich farms. In fact, there is a long history of well-raised animals with generations of local farmers behind them in Pennsylvania. Our animals are humanely raised and ethically slaughtered. They are not given antibiotics or hormones. They are pasture-raised, grass-fed and in essence, the best Berks County has to offer. When customers purchase meat from D&H, they are not only purchasing meat they can trust, they are buying a phenomenally tasting product.
