Dworshak Dam and Reservoir
Dworshak Dam and Reservoir is a flood control project completed in 1973 after seven years of construction. The 717-foot straight-axis dam is located on the North Fork of the Clearwater River about 5 miles north of Orofino, Idaho. The reservoir is 54 miles long and offers many recreation opportunities.

- 4 primitive multi-site campgrounds: Canyon Creek, Grandad, Dam View, Little Meadow Creek ATV Camp

- 4 day use areas: Merry’s Bay, Big Eddy, Viewpoint, and Bruce’s Eddy
- Visitor Center-with a small gift shop.
- Over 15 miles of trails
- 3 state park sites: Big Eddy Marina, Dworshak State Park, Three Meadows
- 7 boat launch ramps
