What is E6?
E6 refers to Ephesians chapter 6 in the Bible where God grants us His spiritual armor and also tells us to do something with it,
PUT IT ON!!!
10 "Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes."
Why would He tell us to put it on if He didn't intend for us to use it? We hear often by many brothers and sisters in the Lord that "God will take care of this situation", "He will protect us from" this or that bad thing, "I'm trusting God for this situation".
We do trust God, the scriptures are clear that He is in charge and the ultimate authority but we tend to use that as an excuse to not take action against evil.
Take His servant Nehemiah. Here was a man whom God greatly used to rebuild the city of Jerusalem! God protected and supported Nehemiah in the work God called him to do, God made miraculous way for him to complete the task God had given him.
In Nehemiah 4:9 "But we prayed to our God and posted a guard day and night..."
Were they wrong to post a guard? Were they any less faithful because the acted? What about the wall, they could have said "We're trusting God to rebuild His wall"

No, they obeyed God in their doing.
What does that mean? That means that in church we are to be DOING things physically, practically and spiritually to protect, shepherd and guard the ministry He has put in our charge.
We need to work like it all depends on us but pray knowing it all depends on Him!!!

Ok, that's the scriptural reasoning for E6 now what do we hope to do with it?
We've found that there is a problem getting high quality, real, practical training and tools into the church. With conferences it's like trying to take a drink from a fire hose and then being expected to retain what you've learned. They are expensive and can take days and then you have the daunting task of transferring that info to your fellow leaders and workers when you return. The internet is a good tool but you can't get the real people/experts there to talk with or in some cases train with physically depending on the subject being covered. Then there's simulcasting, same problems as a conference and also the internet but with all of these you have people trying to commercialize and sell you things that you don't have a need for at the time.
