We are a church that welcomes, worships, prays, loves, and serves. With our community, and for our community.
We are a congregation which seeks to glorify God the Father, Maker of Heaven and Earth, to affirm the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, God's only divine Son, our Lord, and to acknowledge the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. In the context of the Presbyterian Church USA, and of our historical reformed theological tradition, we are committed by our Biblical mandate to:
Worship, honor, and glorify God in all we do.
Minister to the Church body with the love and compassion God's Spirit provides.
To bring the joy, hope, and truth of Jesus Christ to others who hunger for love, acceptance, healing, and forgiveness; here, in our own community, and around the world as we are led by God.

Historical roots in the Montecito community:
NOVEMBER 13, 1887 - El Montecito Presbyterian Church is formed. In 1888, our original wood church building was dedicated. In 1932, during the Great Depression, the old wood church gave way to the sanctuary that served our parish for 73 years. Today, we worship in a beautifully remodeled and expanded sanctuary, with thanks to God!
