EnvironmentalDashboard.org is a technology for promoting "systems thinking" and inspiring thought and action that moves us towards sustainability
Visit EnvironmentalDashboard.org
A technology and an approach to taking information about resource-use (electrcity and water) and translating it into a form that’s easily accessible. Environmental Dashboard is designed to educate, motivate, and empower people to conserve resources.
Whereas previous generations of humans lived in intimate contact with the natural world, North Americans now spend greater than 90% of their lives in buildings. A major goal of the Environmental Dashboard, therefore, is to reconnect people with the natural world by introducing a new form of feedback on resource-use and environmental quality.
We are not just interested people turning off lights--we are interested in helping people to understand their decisions in the context of a larger system of resource-use.
