Dear Friends in Christ
I greet you with this word from Matthew 28:19 & 20 – “Go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.”
These are the words of Jesus recorded at the very end of the Gospel of Matthew. Then Jesus adds “And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” These words give us our purpose as a church. We are to go and tell others of the wonderful news of Jesus as long as we are here on this earth. And Jesus has promised to be very near us and help us every step of the way.
