9) PASTORAL RELATIONS COMMITTEE
The Consistory has created a Pastoral Relations committee consisting of John Casbar, Julie Kooistra, and John Plog. The purpose of the committee is to provide encouragement, insight, and prayer for Pastor Christopher and Jennifer, and to facilitate healthy communication within the congregation (speaking the truth in love; communicating directly with people – as opposed to gossip and behind people’s backs.)

We encourage you to speak with John, Julie, or John to share both your concerns as well as what you appreciate about First Reformed Church.

BECOMING A MEMBER AT FIRST REFORMED....
Would you like to become a member of First Reformed Church of Saddle Brook? Are you a new visitor or a long-time visitor who has thought about joining? We would love to talk to you more about becoming a part of this blessed church family. Please contact Pastor Christopher at 201-843-6672 or email him at cbrianwolf@gmail.com.

The First Reformed Church of Saddle Brook is part of the Reformed Church of America. It started in 1893 as a Sunday School in a barn. Growing rapidly, it moved its meetings to Lincoln School on Market Street. In 1900, the First Reformed Church of Rochelle Park was chosen. Property was purchased and a structure was completed, holding its first service on May 5, 1901. An Educational Building was constructed in 1925. This building would eventually be destroyed by fire in December of 1952. Our new and present sanctuary was formally dedicated on June 20, 1954. Our name has since been changed to the First Reformed Church of Saddle Brook. For more information on our history, check out our history tab on our Facebook page! We welcome all with spiritual fellowship!
