Fredericksburg Texas Retreats at two beautiful properties that are minutes from downtown Fredericksburg. Cross Mountain Retreat is located at 406 Cross Mountain Drive. It is a two suite cabin that has a breezeway separating the suites. Each suite rents for $159.00 per night plus tax. Each suite has a king bed, fireplace, seating area, dining table, flat screen tv, Internet, mini fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, jetted tub, separate shower, private patio and access to the shared back yard hot tub.

Moonrise Retreat is located At 903 Durst Maurer Rd and input 3 miles from Main Street. It is located on a quiet dead end road with little traffic and a beautify view of the Palo Alto Creek Valley. The cabin is at a small farm owned by the Jenschke's where they have their chickens, dogs, horses and cats.

It has two bedrooms with king beds, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, a queen sofa sleeper in the living room, a roll away bed, three outdoor sitting areas and a firepit.

Moonrise Retreat rents for $179 per night for two guests each additional guest over the first two is $20.00 per day. Pets are welcome and are $35 for the entire stay.

Moonrise is a lovely place for family and friends to spend some quality time together.

Both properties are owned and managed by Laurie and Daniel Jenschke for the past 13 years. Daniel is a building contractor and Laurie is the director of the Texas Lutheran University/Mid-Texas Symphony Community Music Academy and serves as choral director for two children's choirs at the academy and as Concert Master for the Mid-Texas Symphony Chorus.

They love creating a special getaway for their guests at both Cross Mountain Retreat and Moonrise Retreat.
